Rosacea

What can the rosacea treatment procedure do for me?

Rosacea is a condition that results in facial redness and chronic flushing, often most intense when exposed to sunlight, caused by dilated and/or broken blood vessels. The most popular and effective treatment is the use of specialized lasers, which emit a wavelength of light to safely target the pigment of the blood on superficial veins and redirect blood flow into deeper vessels to achieve a more even skin tone.

Before & After

The MaxG™ IPL

The MaxG IPL is optimized for clearing vessels, vascular lesions, and pigmented lesions, offering superior vessel and pigment clearance that goes beyond single-wavelength lasers. And with their patented advances in pulsed-light performance, you can experience a comfortable, no-downtime treatment on your way to a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

The Benefits of MaxG Delivering dual bands of wavelengths to selectively target the absorption peaks of hemoglobin and preferentially heat blood in the presence of melanin, the MaxG offers superior closure of the larger, deeper facial vessels with Dynamic Spectrum Shifting.

The MaxG’s Dynamic Spectrum Shifting increases the concentration of near-infrared light with longer pulse widths to provide more uniform heating across the entire diameter of larger vessels.

In comparison to non-optimized pulsed light, the MaxG handpiece offers:

  • More energy available across all pulse durations
  • Greater peak power to address challenging small vessels
  • Higher fluences to address mid-to-large-sized resistant vessels

Yag 1064nm

The Yag 1064nm wavelength laser coagulates blood vessels and constricts them, closing them off. The vessel then degenerates, and the visible veins disappear. This is the treatment of choice for vascular lesions with unsurpassed efficacy and client comfort.

Does it hurt?

Wondering about any pain involved with a procedure is understandable. Most patients have a comfortable laser treatment experience and local anaesthesia is available if you believe that you have a lower pain tolerance.

How many sessions do I need?

The number of sessions is unique to each patient and during the initial consultation to discuss the treatment plan, you will be advised as to how many sessions are recommended for your skin condition. On average, 3-6 sessions are recommended.

Take-home products are also used to fortify and maintain clinic treatment.
